Founded in 2000, Las Vegas-based UtilitySoft provides software on the windows platform for the hospitality industry and retail business. We provide menu and recipe management software, employee management software and a complete restaurant and retail point of sale software. Our Point Of Sale software accommodates all types of restaurants i.e.  Dine-in, take out, quick service, drive-through, pizza deliveries, school cafeterias, coffee shops, deli counters, gift shops, and retail (merchandise sales) and more.

Thanks to quick and simple installation, short learning curve and ease of use, our products have seen increased growth and customer satisfaction all across the hospitality industry and we strive to make the products better by continually listening to our customers and improving on our products.

The UtilitySoft Story

Former baker and graduate of University of Nevada, Las Vegas – founder George Kweyama started software development while working in the bakery industry out of sheer frustration of the crop of recipe management programs that never seemed to address the needs of professional chefs and bakers as much as they did casual cooks and hobbyists.

George used his bakery background and management expertise to create a recipe and menu management program that would be able to carry out very precise calculations of recipe yields, baker’s percentages, measurement conversions and multiple recipe printing options just to name a few.

Quickly chefs, bakers and restaurant owners came to know and love ProChef Plus and started requesting software that would address other areas of the restaurant such as inventory tracking/receiving and ordering, employee time/scheduling and payroll and an all-in-one restaurant point of sale and back-office software. Utilitysoft listened and we have never looked back since.
